If someone would take the best of Photo Gallery and Envira and make one truly great plugin I would take them to a good dinner. PG only needs a few tweaks to make it great. 1- don’t take me back to the first page if I delete a file. It’s annoying. 2- give some padding to descriptions and captions. Type is too crowded. 3- “Give Us BOLD!” “Give Us BOLD!” “Give Us BOLD!”I know it’s too much to ask for type color options but bold is a must have. Captions don’t stand out. It ain’t great but it ain’t horrible. I like it’s features and it is easier in many respects compared to Envira in the ways that mimic my workflow.

I just wanted a simple gallery plugin to replace my old one that stopped working. I added a bunch of media library items to a gallery, then used their interface to add the appropriate shortcode into a post. The result is a “No Images found.” error and nothing displays. I didn’t customize anything. This is as simple as it gets. I was unable to find any solution and instead of wasting more time, I’m just going to use a different plugin. Your plugin should work out of the box. Very frustrated.
