Overview

The "Admin Menu Post List" WordPress plugin offers a streamlined solution for administrators by adding a simple, yet efficient post list directly into the admin menu, enhancing their workflow. By integrating with posts, pages, and custom post types, the plugin allows users to quickly navigate and edit posts from the menu, without the need to navigate through multiple pages or tabs. After installation and activation, users can configure settings to enable desired post types, limit the number of display items, and customize the ordering and display options such as by creation date, modification date, title, and order. Additionally, it provides flexibility in managing the visibility of posts by allowing users to exclude drafts, pending posts, and non-public post types. Enhanced with global settings to control title length and child post visibility, the plugin ensures a more efficient content management experience. It's compatible with other plugins like Intuitive Custom Post Order, although it may affect post order settings.

User sentiment analysis

Users appreciate the WordPress plugin for its functionality, ease of use, and time-saving benefits. It significantly enhances workflow efficiency by allowing seamless navigation between different posts and custom post types without repeatedly returning to the "All Posts" list. The plugin is particularly valuable for managing content-heavy sites and works well with other plugins like WooCommerce. Users also praise its simple, intuitive interface and lightweight, stable performance across different environments. However, some drawbacks include an issue with the pop-up list obscuring part of the screen during post-editing and the plugin not appearing in the "installed plugins" list. Long post titles can also cause layout issues.

Unfortunately the pop-up list stays around obscuring the LH side of the post when you edit a post. Maybe this is just with WordPress 5.0.1

The none public post types choice and filters really make sence! Jumping between ACF Field Groups and Other Editing areas make me wonder why this is not a core plugin. Working with a lot of content, This plugin recommended! Easy and Useful contribution to the free Plugin resp. / Thanks and keep sharing code

Simple and light plugin, stable as we used this in many enviroments for many years. If you are tired to jump back to “All post table list” to select another post to edit, this makes it easy to jump from one “edit” to another post edit. Specially when working with many diffrent post types at the same time. We also use this plugin when Working with Woocommerce and wanna have latest edited products or orders “bumped” to the top. The source code is nice and correct for this matter, and as a free contribution to the WordPress enviroment, this plugin is worth 5 stars from us at Intervik.

Almost all you need to work faster and more smooth when jumping around in the backend between pages, products and custom post-types! It doesnt integrate as a fancy mega menu, it just hook into the default rendered admin menu and add what you customize in the plugin settings page.
