Overview

The "Simply Show IDs" WordPress plugin addresses a common issue where the IDs of posts, pages, media, links, categories, tags, and users are not easily visible in the WordPress admin interface. User sentiment analysis

Users appreciate this WordPress plugin for its simplicity and effectiveness. It adds a column in the backend to display IDs for pages and posts, which is particularly useful for implementing shortcodes. Despite being outdated and not updated for years, users report no issues with newer WordPress versions, valuing its reliability and ease of use. Some users note that it works flawlessly, even with custom taxonomies. However, a drawback is its outdated status, leading to concerns about its long-term compatibility and visibility in the WordPress repository. Users suggest updating the readme file to confirm compatibility with newer WordPress versions.

Maybe not the latest super trick plugin – but it still does what it says it will do, even if it hasn’t been updated in years. Why fix it if it isn’t broken. Who gave it three stars?

Activate this plugin, or cull together scraps of code from across the internet? There’s no contest. This plugin does the job perfectly, even for custom taxonomies.
