Overview

The "Head & Footer Code" plugin for WordPress is designed to enable users to add custom code snippets (JavaScript, CSS, or HTML) to various sections of a website without needing programming skills. This versatile plugin allows the insertion of code into the section (for site verification, custom styles, or meta tags), right after the tag opens (for tracking pixels, analytics, or heatmap codes), or just before the tag closes. Users can easily navigate to the Head & Footer Code settings through the WordPress dashboard under Tools. The plugin supports various code snippets including Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, and site verification codes for multiple services. Additionally, it provides specific code customization options for homepage blog posts, individual articles, and specific categories, enhancing targeted code management. With features supporting Multisite and PHP 8.3 compatibility, the plugin offers comprehensive control over where and how custom codes are applied, ensuring seamless integration and operation on different levels of a WordPress site.

User sentiment analysis

Users highly appreciate the Head & Footer Code Plugin for its simplicity, effectiveness, and speed of implementation. They find it exceptionally helpful for adding custom CSS, JavaScript, structured data, and tracking codes to specific pages without altering the main theme files. The plugin's intuitive design, with features like syntax highlighting and the ability to maintain codes even when changing themes, further boosts its utility. However, some users noted issues, such as code disappearing, probable cache conflicts, or limitations in code positioning near the `` tag. Despite these minor drawbacks, the quick and supportive responses from the developer, Aleksandar, have garnered significant praise.

3 years ago I asked the plugin developer Aleksandar to consider a feature to allow shortcode usage in the head. He not only implemented the feature, it was added way faster than anyone could ever expect 👍 and provided guidance to avoid potential issues. Thank you very much for this support and addition. Also, I’m extremely sorry for not replying to the support thread and not being able to provide testing for the feature.

Just wanted to let you know that Head & Footer Code Plugin works great. Its nice to have that available to add custom css styling to an individual page rather than going to the main style sheet. Makes it easier to find something specific applicable to a page rather than looking through a large style sheet. Nice work!

Works like a charm. I use it to insert structured data on pages posts and customs posts. Thanks for that plugin Aleksander!

Apparently from the post that did not appear there was a strange space within the code. On the other pages it is found within the code, only the code disappears from the plugin drawer, I thought the code stayed written there. They can close as solved. Sorry for the inconvenience! :EITHER—–Quite a strange thing has happened, yesterday I posted the specific code to some of the blog posts adding some schema <script> code to them. I checked them with the Schema check and published them and the code was there; but today it is not there. For some reason it stopped loading; and other pages that put similar code on them, it simply disappeared. Could it have something to do with cache issues? Or I do not know? I’m sad, I thought it would work and I’ve been looking for something similar for a long time 🙁 This topic was modified 9 months ago by ciberninjas. Reason: Solved
