User sentiment analysis

Users appreciate the straightforward and simple nature of the WordPress plugin, highlighting its ease of use and the variety of hit counter styles available. It effectively tracks visitor hits, with a setting for unique hits by IP, although it lacks domain site visit tracking. It is also noted for being lightweight and customizable, with users enjoying its visual customization options. However, some users mention that the plugin could benefit from additional features and improvements, such as counting hits per site rather than per page. Events like site issues or server problems can also temporarily disrupt its functionality. Despite these drawbacks, the plugin is generally well-received for its intended purpose.

I was looking for a simple plugin and this very straight forward and just what I need. It has a lot different types of hit counters with all doing the basic task counting hits. The only thing I might suggest is to count hits per site and not hits per page. For example as I navigate through my page I expect to get one hit but instead I get 10 because I navigated through 10 pages during my visit to the site. I use the setting Unique hits which I believe keeps track of unique hits by IP but it doesn’t necessarily track domain site visits. Overall it does what it saids.

It’s simple and it works. You can choose a number to start at also. There could be a couple extra features but I don’t think the author has any plans.
