User sentiment analysis

Users appreciate the "Post View Counter" WordPress plugin for its simplicity, effectiveness, and reliability in tracking content performance. The plugin offers an easy-to-navigate interface, integrates well with various themes, and does not consume excessive resources, making it suitable for different website sizes. It accurately displays view counts, aids in monitoring popular posts, and is helpful as a complementary tool alongside Google Analytics. However, some drawbacks include limitations in the free version, such as restricted access to certain stats and issues when used with cache plugins and Cloudflare. Users also noted occasional bugs, particularly with mobile view counts and custom post types.

The tool feels solid, the numbers appear accurate as best as I can calculate without auditing mounds of logs for verification, and the information, while somewhat limited, is quite helpful in analyzing various aspects of my sites. I rarely give anything the max rating possible, and for this plugin, that is no exception. I suppose if the plugin were more complete, say with visitor and geo numbers it would likely have scored a 5 star. That said, it’s definitely a solid plugin that has caused no issues in my customized sites so I would recommend anyone looking for this functionality to give this plugin at least a couple weeks to see how it works for you.
