Pracuję w branży już ponad 10 lat i NIGDY nie spotkałem się z tak beznadziejnym wsparciem technicznym jak w przypadku tego rozwiązania. Jeden rabin mówi tak, drugi rabin mówi nie a ty człowieku bądź mądry i udowadniaj że nie jesteś wielbłądem. Sama wtyczka niewiele lepszej jakości z opisem technicznym niezgodnym z rzeczywistością. W specyfikacji opisane “zaznacz opcję”, jeden człowiek ze wsparcia mówi “odznacz opcję”, drugi człowiek ze wsparcia mówi “zaznacz opcję” – i w jednym i w drugim przypadku i tak nie działa! Sami nie wiedzą co oferują i jak to funkcjonuje… Nigdy więcej – zdecydowanie odradzam korzystanie z tego rozwiązania.

Nie można korzystać z wtyczki bez instalacji flexible shipping. Grrr… Flexible dodatkowo spowalnia stronę i utrudnia życie.

Wtyczka działa, ale trzeba zainstalować beznadziejny plugin WP Desk Flexible Shipping, który narzuca własną logikę ustalania kosztów. Owszem – można z tej logiki nie korzystać i potraktować go jako “przejściówkę” – tylko po co on wtedy jest? Dodaje dodatkowy niepotrzebny overhead do naszej strony, spowalnia ją i wymaga kolejnych aktualizacji, oraz – UWAGA – rejestrracji na stronie WP Desk. WP Desk nie pasuje do środowiska wordpressa i woocommerce. Jest wiele wspaniałaych pluginów które po prostu są płatne. Płaci się za roczne wsparcie $20-$100 dolarów (np pluginy Delicious Brain) i tyle. Po tym czasie wsparcie wygasa. Tymczasem WP Desk chce uwikałać swoich użytkowników w sieć swoich pluginów – flexible shipping, wp desk helper, itd. Szkoda że mają takie podejście, bo na polskim rynku są chyba jedynym developerem piszącym pluginy do woocommerce. Być może to właśnie pozwala im tak działać. Nie będę instalował flexible shipping. Stworzę sobie własny osobny, prosty plugin do obsługi API Apaczki.
