User sentiment analysis
Users highly appreciate the WordPress Google Analytics plugin for its simplicity and user-friendly dashboard. They particularly like the straightforward setup and installation process, as well as the ability to control user roles and permissions. Additionally, many users find it to be a performance-oriented plugin with no unnecessary bloat, making it more efficient compared to alternatives like Monster Insights.
However, some users have suggested improvements such as including more preset time ranges and detailed traffic source breakdowns. Another drawback noted is the persistent review requests, which some perceive as spam. Furthermore, the lack of a Google Login Option and a delay in data synchronization are also points of criticism.

I’ve tried a bunch of different Google Analytics plugins for WordPress, but this one is by far my favorite. It’s incredibly straightforward to use, and the dashboard is user-friendly. I hope it continues to be free and doesn’t follow the path of some of the previous plugins that became paid ones. One thing that would make it even better is the option to change the default range on the Dashboard Widget.

It will be wonderful, if it is possible to show on the frontpage with a widget, statistics of visits on the frontpage of the site.

1. The preset time range for the GA stats doesn’t include the “Last 7 Days”, “Last 30 Days” & “Last 90 Days”. I have to select the date range manually which is stressful.
2. I think the percentage of traffic coming from each source should be included. For example, The percentage of visitors coming from Search Engines, Social, Referral or Direct.
3. It doesn’t say how many visitors are coming from mobile, tablet or desktop. It doesn’t also say how many visitors are returning and how many are new.

There are many GA plugins out there. If you are looking for one that has modern interface, a dashboard widget and lots of features and really nice support team, look no further!

Does not work with the Google Login Option. Just says there is no data yet when there is in GA.
The plugin did take a week or so to start working, but with support and time, the plugin started to work.

I develop plugins for my clients and I know how difficult this process is. My head spins whenever I look at any WPDEVMU plugin when I think of the work involved to accomplish something so functional and beautiful to work with (I’m an incredible fan Branda as well).
The setup was incredibly simple, install, authorize in Google Analytics and you are done. It then asks which roles should have permissions to see this – this is fantastic! I love having this level of control with the roles that I have implemented into my current website.
I used Monster Insights prior to this and the bloat that they insert everywhere (even at the front end for logged in users) is unjustifiable.
This plugin is clean, professionally written, and prioritizes on functionality, performance, and features above all. Kudos to the team! 👏👏👏

Great that the team is offering this for free.
Hopefully you can add in a ‘Post Stats’ Popup to the ‘posts page’ soon. It’s super helpful to see how your new and old posts have been performing on the fly from within WP.
Also being able to click into Top Pages, Dates etc would be awesome.
This could easily become the No.1 analytics WP plugin with a few additional features.
Thanks!

Great Plugin. Easy to install. Works fine. So far does not have any ads.
