User sentiment analysis

Users of the Solid Security Pro plugin appreciate its robust feature set and excellent customer support, highlighting the plugin's ability to provide comprehensive website security with functionality such as password enforcement, vulnerability scanning, and adaptive web application firewalls. Users particularly praise its lightweight nature and quick, responsive support team, which is especially commendable given the context of free plan users also receiving high-quality assistance. However, the plugin isn't without its drawbacks. Significant criticism revolves around the complicated and sometimes confusing user interface, with many users lamenting the overhaul to what was previously simpler navigation. Issues like the 2FA feature locking users out of their accounts and site crashes following updates were also noted. Additionally, frequent and excessive email notifications are seen as a nuisance, and some users experienced compatibility issues with other plugins and hosting environments.

I’ve been using ithemes and Solid Security for some years now and always has been great. Support is also very helpful.

The tech support request was addressed promptly, and the support person was friendly and had the knowledge needed to help me sort through the problem. They stuck with it despite some hiccups in the process on my end. In an era of what is often poor customer service, this experience was a delight. You guys are doing it right.

I panicked a bit after discovering a potential issue that was caused by an old setting in the previously named ithemes plugin. a setting which could rename the wp_content folder to one of choice. However, when it came to creating a stageing site it appears that my custom folder was not recognised. chanalder bong helped me right out.

I have been using Solid Security (previously ithemes security) for many years (10+?). I’ve lost track. I used the full iThemes tools for several years. Solid Security is my go to for clients and my own sites. It’s easy to use, does a great job in blocking brute force and other attempts. Reporting keeps me informed of attack rates, bad logins, and other security related activity that’s important in keeping all sites safe. I haven’t had issues with plugin conflicts with other tools I use. I’ve used WordFence on occasion, but Solid Security just has everything I need. I also like the features that help… whitelisting, admin renaming, user security management, and numerous tweaking settings. I’ve had little need to go to support, but when I have they’ve been responsive and knowledgeable. I recommend Solid Security to clients and others for security. Often because people don’t even have security set up on their WordPress installations.
