User sentiment analysis

Users appreciate EWWW Image Optimizer for its ability to significantly improve website speed by optimizing images, with several reporting faster load times and better site performance metrics. The plugin is noted for being user-friendly and effective, offering simplicity in configuration and usability, even for beginners. Users found it reliable and praised its automatic functions, especially in handling large image libraries and converting images to WebP format. However, there are some drawbacks, including nagging review prompts and a concerning malware detection in VirusTotal, which was later clarified by the developers. Additionally, some users experienced issues with default settings not being adequately communicated, like the automatic conversion of PNGs to JPEGs, which could be problematic for specific niche use cases.

This was a great honest plugin that gave you access to the features on your server without annoying ploys to make a quick buck off inexperienced users who do not understand what features are available on the local server. At this point the plugin needlessly has nagging code to trick admin users into paying for remote features they can get from the local server using free plugins. Making money off of needless network congestion and wasting power might even be a moral concern for some people on top of the dishonesty.I suspect the original developer just sold this off or has become too desperate to avoid ruining what was a great free solution.

Sehr sinnvoll, um die Ladezeiten zu begrenzen und die Bilder in der entsprechenden Größe auf die Seite zu bringen, die nur benötigt wird – wichtig 🙂

While this certainly does the job it has severe issues. The UX is beyond horrendous. I’ve never seen so many icons that do “something” on one page. I used to love this plugin when it was simpler. Now it’s just a confusing mess. This topic was modified 3 weeks, 3 days ago by 3dprintingguy.
