User sentiment analysis

Users appreciate the plugin for its ability to install the new Google Tag tracking code into their websites, and they commend the fast and excellent support provided by the developers. However, the installation instructions are not clear regarding the requirement of the WordPress Shortcode API, causing confusion about whether additional components are needed. Some users experienced issues with the plugin failing to add the Google gtag code and found alternative plugins that worked immediately without complications. The plugin's efficacy seems dependent on a clear understanding of the WordPress Shortcode API requirements, which is a drawback for less experienced users.

Installed the plugin version 1.01 on our WordPress 4.8.5 installation. Activated it and added our UA-X code, and saved. Upon checking, the plugin failed to add the Google gtag code to our website pages. The author mentions WordPress Shortcode API is required. But what is that? Is that API in the standard version of WordPress, or do I need to install that separately? This is not clear. I uninstalled this plugin and found another similar plugin on the WordPress.org site. It worked straight away and inserted the required Google gtag code on our website pages.

Great plugin to install the new Google Tag tracking code into your website. I had an interaction with an optimisation plugin (not the fault of this plugin), and received fast excellent support. Nice work!
