User sentiment analysis

Users appreciate Polylang for its simplicity, ease of use, and effectiveness in creating multilingual websites. It integrates well with other plugins like WooCommerce and Yoast SEO, offers helpful support, and has a user-friendly interface. Users enjoy being able to manage posts and content in different languages, find it a great free tool with many features, and appreciate that it avoids unnecessary disruptions with notifications or popups. However, there are drawbacks: issues with header/footer translations, lack of functionality when paired with Elementor (unless using specific add-ons), problems with Profile pages in certain themes, and crucial features like the language switcher now hidden behind a PRO paywall. Some users also report inadequate support responses.

Hello My WordPress is installed at site.tld/support/. Currently I have my default language there. What I mean by this is that homeurl, siteurl is site.tld/support/. I wish to have my additional language at the following path with Polylang: site.tld/en/support/ – one directory path below the wordpress installation. site.tld/en/support/ folder, is just a symlink to site.tld/support/ so there should be no technical limitation. In Polylang now, I can’t get it to work. How can I get this URL structure to work? I can seemingly only get site.tld/support/en and site.tld/support/ to work but not site.tld/en/support/. I never want to use WPML again, as it makes the website sooooo slow, and it is very buggy. For each installation I had to make several tickets with WPML “experts”. Polylang has less options, but is waaaay faster, more efficiënt and stable.thank you for your GREAT plugin 🙂

It works very well, even with block themes, as long as it’s used together with Site Editor Classic Features. Thank you!
