User sentiment analysis

Users appreciate this WordPress plugin for its simplicity and straightforward operation, making it ideal for adding banners to websites quickly and without hassle. The plugin is praised for its ease of installation, customization flexibility, and efficient support from the developer. Notably, it aids users in embedding banners within HTML, ensuring proper content flow, and maintaining website aesthetics. However, some users encounter compatibility issues with themes like Divi, resulting in banners not displaying correctly or covering navigation menus. Additionally, occasional glitches, like the absence of a close button and banners not showing on mobile devices, are reported. Despite these drawbacks, the swift and reliable support often mitigates user concerns.

This plugin is exactly what I expected, simple to use and straight-forward. I had some funky settings going on with the website that were causing some issues but the developer went above and beyond to support. The issue had nothing to do with the plugin, it was WP Engine causing all the problems, but the developer was graciously willing to troubleshoot and resolve it when they didn’t even have to since it was nothing caused by the plugin. 5/5 stars all the way around. I’d use anything this developer makes in the future.

EDIT to 5-star rating due to responsiveness of the dev!!! This was exactly what I had hoped for: a simple, way to add a one-line banner message to my websites… except it doesn’t work (reliably) with Divi from Elegant Themes. To be fair, it might work with Divi given enough time and CSS experimentation (using the Divi suggestions provided by the plug-in author, and more) but after about 20 minutes of trial-n-error I cannot get it to work in combination with Divi’s function to “hide header until scroll.” Then again, neither does any other “banner” plug-in I’ve tried, where that Divi setting is used. Yes, I can use the Divi Theme Builder itself to create a custom layout with an extra “banner” section at the top of the header – and that’s a hassle I don’t need for the 40-50 sites I manage. Thus my quest for a simple banner solution continues… Giving this one 3-stars for a pretty good backend implementation – it just won’t work with Divi in my particular config state. This topic was modified 8 months ago by klynam. Reason: dev fixed the plugin

Also enough forum threads with useful dev answers to do more than explained in the plugin itself

Something as simple as a banner can require a lot of custom CSS and HTML… This plugin solves that problem. You can still add custom CSS, but saves a lot of time editing theme files and getting it to look just right manually. I have this installed on two sites. Doesn’t seem to be resource-heavy either.
