Overview
This WordPress plugin allows users to customize the automatic rendering of quotation marks in their content. By default, WordPress converts quotes into English-style smart or curly quotes (“…”), but with this plugin, users can switch to a variety of styles to suit different languages and typographical preferences. Options include Croatian/Hungarian/Polish/Romanian style („…”), Czech or German style („…“), Danish style (»…«), Finnish or Swedish style (”…”), French style (« … » – with spaces), as well as Greek/Italian/Norwegian/Portuguese/Russian/Spanish/Swiss style («…» – without spaces), and even Japanese or Traditional Chinese style (「⋯」). Users can also turn off smart quotes completely and opt for standard "dumb" quotes ("…"). This flexibility ensures that users can maintain consistent and appropriate punctuation styles across all their content.
