Translatepress is very easy to learn, but at the same time its very versatile. The free version is complete enough for the translation of a small website with not too many blog posts. But I am looking forward to the premium version so that I can do automatic translations.

My consideration for using a plugin always “is it Fast, Simple, Secure?” I’m migrating from old website where it has hundred posts and they have translated version some of it with the wrong language. I’ll be damn to fix those on top migrating and developing the new website version. So after a little research I want to give TP a shot. The menu is simple and not all over the place, translating process done automatically by Gtranslate API, this is awesome all the posts have their initial translation version without me lifting any finger on translating or pairing the translated version from the old website, and if needed the client can improve the translation. Do mind you’ll need google cloud console with payment account when using automatic translation with Gtranslate API. Some input: I put the language switcher in the footer so it would be nice if the dropdown direction, up not down, some feature to customize this would be appreciated. Please keep it simple, fast and secure. Cheers

I really liked it. It bugged me a little that slug translation was paid only but the plugin is very good in general.
